Welcome to Exotic World. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this landing page and our online store at exoticworld.ca (collectively, the "Site"). By using the Site, subscribing to our list, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Exotic World is a Canadian fashion brand operated from Ontario. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Exotic World. "You" refers to the person browsing, subscribing, or purchasing.

2. Using the site

You may browse the Site and use its features so long as you don't:

• Scrape, mirror, or resell content without written permission.
• Attempt to disrupt the Site's security, availability or normal operation.
• Use the Site for anything unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity when subscribing or purchasing.

3. The 15% off code (EXOTIC15)

By submitting your email on this Site, we send you a one-time promotional discount code. The following rules apply:

• The code is valid for one use per email address per household.
• It applies to your first order at exoticworld.ca and cannot be reused.
• It cannot be combined with other promotional codes, gift cards, or bundle discounts.
• It does not apply to gift cards, previous purchases, taxes or shipping fees.
• We reserve the right to void codes obtained through automated means, fake sign-ups, or abusive use.
• The code expires 90 days after issuance.

4. Orders, pricing & payment

• All prices are shown in CAD unless indicated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing or product-description errors and to cancel affected orders with a full refund.
• Availability is not guaranteed until the order is confirmed. If an item sells out before dispatch, we'll notify you and refund that item.
• Payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments and its partners. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Shipping & returns

Shipping timelines, return windows and refund rules are covered in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

Everything on this Site — original prints, product photography, editorial imagery, copywriting, logos and the Exotic World name — is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any of it commercially without written permission.

User-generated content: if you tag us or send us content (photos, reviews, testimonials), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to re-share it on our channels with attribution.

7. Product colours & representation

We photograph our pieces as accurately as we can, but colours may vary slightly between monitors and mobile devices. Hand-printed and hand-dyed items in the Astonish Me Looks line may show minor variations between pieces — that's a feature, not a defect.

8. Third-party services

The Site relies on the following partners, whose terms may also apply when you interact with them:

• Shopify — storefront and checkout.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Instagram & YouTube — embedded reels and social links.
• Payment processors — Shopify Payments and connected gateways.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we take reasonable care to keep it accurate and running, we don't warrant that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected. Product descriptions represent our best effort but do not constitute a guarantee of specific performance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Exotic World shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or products, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, partners, or the law. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario. If you're a consumer resident elsewhere, your local consumer-protection laws still apply where they can't be waived by contract.
